- Collection / transport: As a certified waste management company, we have the necessary equipment and expertise to transport PET waste safely and in compliance with the law from the point of origin to our recycling plant.
- Sorting: In the first process step, foreign materials such as bags, cans and other contaminants are reliably removed. This is followed by fully automatic colour sorting into clear and coloured PET bottles.
- Shredding: In the next step, the bottles are processed into PET flakes with a diameter of around 10 mm in a high-performance shredding unit.
- Washing: In the subsequent washing process, any remaining residue is completely removed from the PET flakes. The cleaned PET flakes are then dried and filled into big bags or silos.
- PET flakes: The PET flakes produced in the recycling process (coloured or clear) are then directly available as a high-quality raw material for the production of new products and are used in a wide range of technical applications.
- PET regranulate: Our clear PET flakes are used to produce recycled pellets in accordance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2022/1616 on recycled plastics intended to come into contact with food. Strict quality controls ensure the highest product quality and close the "bottle to bottle" cycle.
