Plant operator

In the production department we are always interested in employing skilled workers who can keep our plant and equipment running. You do not need to know about the manufacture of millbase and regranulate yet but training in a technical field and appropriate interest are required.

Your profile:

  • Completed professional training, preferably in a technical field
  • Willingness and suitability for shift work, including at weekends and public holidays
  • Willingness to do physical work
  • Valid licence to drive a fork-lift truck and driving experience

Your duties

  • Operating production systems and monitoring the technology
  • Manual sorting on the sorting conveyor
  • Without supervision, monitoring and organisation of the of the production workflow for the system
  • Managing documentary proof in relation to the production process
  • Bringing the segregated materials to the relevant containers
  • Cleaning the systems in accordance with the cleaning specification
  • Assisting with maintenance and repair tasks
  • Transporting items using fork-lift trucks

Plant and machinery operator

As a plant and machinery operator, you will learn everything involved in setting up, commissioning and operating production and manufacturing machines. This also includes retooling machines, as well as maintenance and repairs.

In the second year of training you will gain your licence for materials handling equipment ("fork-lift truck licence"). Your assignments here within the company will familiarise you with systems for manufacturing millbase and regranulate from PET drink bottles.

  • Intermediate-level secondary school leaving examination with good grades

  • Willingness to do shift work

Your training: 

  • Duration: 2 years
  • Training in conjunction with the vocational college in Bitterfeld and the training centre Bildungszentrum Wolfen-Bitterfeld e.V.
  • In-company training in the production department
  • Deployment in the 3-shift system

Mechatronics technician

Do you like repairing things? Do you enjoy maths, physics and technology? Then the right career for you is a mechatronics technician! Your training will involve learning how to assemble electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components into one system and how to install, maintain and repair plant, machinery and devices. During your assignments here within the company you will learn everything about how to set up production systems, how they work and how to maintain, repair and service them.

Your profile:

  • Intermediate-level secondary school-leaving examination with good grades – An interest in technology and machines
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Willingness to do physical work
  • Work commitment, willingness to learn, team player

Your training:

  • Duration: 3.5 years
  • Training in conjunction with the vocational college in Dessau and the training centre Bildungszentrum Wolfen-Bitterfeld e.V.
  • In-company training in the technology department

Your future:

Process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology

As a process mechanic, you will learn about the working and processing of plastics but also other areas such as hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical engineering.
